Allina Health Peer Support (P2P) for Leaders
These sessions are led by Dr. Mark Goetz and Dr. Mary Beth Lardizabal.
Given the continued levels of stress, uncertainty, global anxiety in the current pandemic surge, we want to give leaders the chance to connect and process these unique challenges with peers. We will learn and practice effective coping strategies. This is a live, virtual session. These sessions are open to Allina leaders. The sessions will be held Wednesdays from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm with an optional 15 min for social connection if participants wish. Each session will run for 4 weeks.
Topics will include discussion about burnout, learning about evidence-based skills shown to reduce stress, like mindfulness, cognitive training, compassion and gratitude practices, and setting up a self-care plan. Having social connection and support from our peers has been shown to be am important factor to improve our resilience and lessen the symptoms of burnout.
Come when you can. No experience necessary.
