Lisa is a Colorado-based Certified Vegan Chef, award-winning author of three cookbooks, two lifestyle workbooks, a speaker, and beekeeper. Her regional cookbook, Food ELEVATED, was recently awarded a First Place, Gold Medal award in the Colorado Independent Publishers Association 2022 national book competition. Coming from a healthcare background, particularly cardiovascular and overall disease prevention, she uses the information on how and what we eat and how it impacts our health, quality of life, and longevity into helpful tips and tools for the non-cook. She supports this data-driven belief and challenge through writing plant-based cookbooks, podcasts, videos, and more! Her greatest joy now is when a friend or student emails her that they made their first primarily plant-based meal! How cool is that? Most recently, she was nominated as a speaker finalist for the 2024 Vegan Women's Summit hosted in Hollywood this May. Do you have to want to be a full-on plant-based vegan to learn from Lisa?
