About Creator
A licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), Dr. Brooke Kalanick attended Seattle, Washington's Bastyr University, where she earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She also has a partially completed Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Washington State University. Dr Brooke became interested in metabolic nutrition and exercise early on and upon graduation was Director of Health and Wellness for a chain of fitness centers in Seattle. After moving to New York City, she opened her own practice and began working closely with Joe Dowdell, co-owner of Peak Performance - voted one of the top 10 gyms in America by Men's Health magazine, which is simply the best-equipped gym in New York City. Dr Brooke is well-versed in prescription medications, taking a balanced approach to using both conventional and alternative therapies while focusing her practice on fat loss and metabolic hormone balancing. Her practical style helps her very busy clients accomplish a healthy lifestyle and their body composition goals.
