Teacher Silica Larkin is an ex-Div. I XC & Track conference champ, Ironman HI age-group medalist, and Hapkido black belt. She's also an ACL recon surgery survivor with a history of nagging low back pain that she manages through yoga! Find out what yoga has to offer athletes! This series will focus on increasing lung capacity, Hip and shoulder openers, joint stability and spinal health.

Get pumped and ready for the weekend!! This class will have you bending, twisting, lunging and sweating! Focus will be on intensive vinyasa flows with more advanced namaskars (sun salutations). Asanas (poses) will be held for longer durations and plenty of core work will be part of this intensive practice to get you more than ready to blast through your Friday and ready for the weekend!

Jessica Wilson has been practicing yoga for over 11 years since her first class in college. After graduation, she traveled for over 4 years throughout South America and Greece, often teaching and using yoga as a means of balancing her nomadic lifestyle. She recently accomplished a long standing goal of receiving her yoga teaching certification in July 2011 at Wilmington Yoga Center, in North Carolina. Her classes are suitable for all levels, and have a primary focus on basic Hatha and Vinyasa flow.
Silica is an ex-elite runner/triathlete/martial artist (and Cirque duSoleil wanna-be)who loves that yoga has been her primary practice for the past three years. Although she enjoys challenging experienced yogis, her greatest joy is in introducing beginners and ‘non-yogis’ to the internal, healing side of yoga and encouraging them to discover a practice that is not so much about whether your foot ends up behind your head as it is about how much joy, peace, and vitality your practice brings you. Silica is the frequently bemused mother of two delightful daughters, and enjoys writing, painting, and singing.
Kelly Wood's background includes dance, art, music and business. As she practices and teaches both Kundalini and Hatha Yoga, Kelly's classes effectively spark the life force energy to sharpen focus, to ground the body/mind and to cultivate a relationship with one's own heart - self-nurturing. Kelly's specialty Karuna Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training course is a comprehensive study of Kundalini and Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on the effects of the practice for the brain and heart. Discovering one's authentic voice is also a major focus during this training. Kelly also teaches children in pubic and private schools and greatly enjoys planting the seeds of yoga and meditation in the hearts and minds of kids for life long skills of self-direction and self-soothing.
