Group and individual sound healing meditations work with intention, breath and sound to encourage the body, mind and energy of a person to consider a more harmonious state. When we work with sound, we are able to connect in a non-verbal way to create a space for reflection and open expression. Some of the benefits of sound healing meditations include a reduction of stress, anxiety and depression. We are able to invite increased focus, creativity, and a different perspective with sound. We are able to allow the body and mind to experience deep rest and relaxation. It is also possible for individuals to release physical pain and discomfort from the body during a session.

Kate is trained through the Wellcoaches program and is a nationally board certified health and wellness coach and a certified yoga instructor. Kate has been working in Integrative Health since 1998 when she worked at the Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Kate also completed programs for holistic cancer coaching and yoga and cancer. As part of respective research studies funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health, Kate trained hypertensive research subjects in the areas of Mindfulness and the Relaxation Response. Kate has a background in education and yoga, which she has found especially useful in dispersing health and wellness information. Kate brings to her clients a non-judgmental and authentic listening style and a belief that all have the ability to reach their wellness goals. Her specialties include personal growth, finding balance, healthy eating, and stress reduction.
Mercedes is a Certified Yoga Instructor & Intuitive Guide with a gift for bringing people together in celebration through yoga practices, aura attunements, Reiki healings, forgiveness ceremonies, and rituals for transforming Grief into Secondary Art. Mercedes is fluent in both English and Spanish and available for one-on-one sessions and group classes in either language. Mercedes attended yoga school after many years of practice to bring her passion for healing to others. She completed yoga training in the jungles of Costa Rica at Pavones Yoga Center. Fresh from yoga school, she traveled to Isla Ometepe, Nicaragua where she taught yoga. language, and wellness in local communities and resorts.
