Ella Mesma is the published author of Journal to Joy and director of award winning company Business Yoga (Prestige award 2020). Ella is a teacher, a coach and a dance artist. Business Yoga is a workplace wellness concept offering online and in person sessions designed to empower staff to look after themselves and support companies to put wellbeing at the heart of their ethos. In order to help companies and staff combat stress and the pressure of deadlines, Business Yoga 23onMe classes, 23onMe productivity timer and 23onMe membership offer short sharp solutions to embed good practise without taking up too much time. Ella has been practising yoga since 2004, and been teaching since 2011. She trained with Embodied Dancer Yoga Teacher Training, Karam Kriya School & Yoga Teachers College® and practises Kundalini, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow & Yoga Trapeze. As a trained dancer, performance highlights have included Russell Maliphant Company, Lea Anderson (The Chomondeleys), Olympics Opening Ceremony, Southpaw and Uchenna. She is also director of international touring Ella Mesma Dance Company.
In 1979 I received a Master in Nutiriton, took my first yoga class in college in the 1970's and got into KUNDALINI and started teaching it in 1985..other yoga practice and study entered my life, which led to an integrated multidisciplinary approach in addition to Kundalini. My teachings are influenced by Iyengar, Dharma and Ashtanga yoga, teaching in New York City since 1985, established a small intimate retreat in northern Maine in 1997 where I offer retreats May to October. I have also taught nidra, yin, restorative and meditation, pranayama.
Danielle has been in the health and fitness industry over 20 years. Her college education as a dental hygienist provided her with a license in nutritional counseling. She has been building on that knowledge for years and currently has numerous health and fitness certifications including, yoga RYT 500, Mad Dogg & Keiser cycle, AFAA personal trainer and Group Fitness, TRX, Keto, Health & Life Coach, Reformer Pilates and Mat certification through Fitour, Reiki Master and The Science of Well-being from Yale University. Danielle is currently furthering her Reformer Pilates education with Balanced Body. As a 23 Lupus warrior she has spent over half her life looking for ways to heal her body from the inside out. Danielle lives a ketogenic lifestyle and believes removing inflammatory foods from her diet put her lupus in remission. She motivates and inspires on her Instagram, @ketolupie and most recently published her first book, “Keto for Autoimmune Health”. Danielle uses her own health journey to empower others to take control of their own health and happiness. Living an active lifestyle is important to Danielle. She loves learning new fitness formats and implementing them into her classes, skiing with her family, creating recipes and spreading positivity. She is over the moon to be a part of the Learn it Live Family and cannot wait to bring her enthusiastic zest for life, health and fitness to all of you!
